Slip and Fall In a Provo, UT Hotel

THE SLIP AND FALL AT UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY IN PROVO, UTAH
Mary and John were excited to begin their Utah vacation in Provo, Utah. They chose to stay at the downtown Marriott, even though they also really enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn Express as well. Sundance Resort was great also. They arrived and checked into the Marriott. They decided to go eat up in the Prairie Schooner. As they exited the elevator, Mary, who was wearing some beautiful slippers, stepped on some liquid that had been spilled on the polished hard granite or marble floor. It looked like it could have been beer, wine, soda or water that was spilled. Mary went down hard, and she didn’t get up. As John assisted her to her feet, He also went down and hit hard as well.
The Slip and Fall Personal Injuries Suffered by John and Mary
Both Mary and John injured various body parts, including their hips, their tail bones, their elbows and shoulders. Their spines were injured as well. They suffered a lot of personal injuries to their bodies. John knew exactly what to do. He was a personal injury lawyer and attorney and knew that Provo was full of personal injury lawyers and attorneys. He also knew that he and Mary had suffered personal injuries from their slip and fall at the Marriott and Utah Valley University. He knew that many people slipped and fell at the Marriott, Utah Valley University and the Prairie Schooner restaurant and other similar locations because of their hard polished marble and granite floors. First, they called security and reported their slip and fall at the Marriott and at Utah Valley University.
Preserving the Evidence of Personal Injuries
They took pictures of their personal injuries, including bruising, swelling, the bleeding from where John hit his head. They took pictures to preserve evidence of what happened. The liquid spill, be it beer, wine or soda, was large. They took pictures of Mary’s bruised and swollen knee, her purple hip, the swelling on her elbow and the large bump on her head, all very painful personal injuries. Mary took pictures of John’s personal injuries, including his bruised and swollen head, the cut on his elbow which was also bruised and bleeding, his swollen and obviously broken knee cap, his swollen and sprained ankle, a broken toe that was twisted outward. He also smashed his face into the floor leaving him with a black eye, a swollen cheek and bruised jaw, all very painful personal injuries.
The Trip to the Hospital
They had security call an ambulance. The EMTs came and checked them out. They were in obvious pain and suffering from their personal injuries. John knew they need a personal in jury lawyer. On the way to the hospital for treatment for their personal injuries he Googled personal injury lawyers and attorneys and decided to hire Kumen L. Taylor, a personal injury lawyer and attorney. At the hospital they were each treated for their personal injuries. Kumen L. Taylor, attorney at law, and personal injury attorney came to the hospital and met with them. They discussed their personal injuries and the effect it would have on their life, including lost wages, having medical bills to pay and any permanent injuries that may remain. They hired Kumen L. Taylor, attorney at law, and personal injury lawyer to pursue their claim against the Marriott and Utah Valley University.
Negotiating the Case
Kumen L. Taylor, attorney at law and personal injury lawyer began negotiating with the Marriott’s insurance company. The Marriott, of course, denied liability because they had surveillance video that showed it was another guest who spilled the drink in which they had slipped. Kumen explained that it didn’t matter who caused the spill, it was the Marriott’s duty to make its premises reasonably safe. A spill on the floor that caused John and Mary to slip and fall was anything but reasonable or safe. Kumen knew how to value their claim. He gathered their medical bills, their lost wages, their pain and suffering, their last quality of life while recuperating in the hospital. By the time John and Mary were ready to leave the hospital, Kumen had been negotiating a settlement while they were being treated and recuperating, their lost opportunity for their vacation which they ended up instead spending negotiating a great settlement for John and Mary.
Leaving the Hospital
After Kumen negotiated a great settlement, John and Mary were finally able to leave the hospital. They were really excited to leave. They felt better, their surgeries were healing nicely and they had recovered nicely from their injuries. As they exited the elevators on their way to the front lobby, John slipped on a liquid spill on the premises of the hospital. It looked like water. When John was going down he grabbed onto Mary to break his fall. She slammed down hard on the tile floors. As they lay there together on the floor, they realized they each had suffered personal injuries again and, began to laugh. Their bodies were busted up again. John’s opposite check was broken and bruised. He knee was busted up. His opposite elbow was cut, swollen and bleeding. Mary’s head hurt, her ankle was swollen and injured.
Another Slip and Fall Case
Back into the hospital they both went. Kumen L. Taylor, their personal injury attorney and lawyer came back as well. The hospital treated their injuries and helped them heal. Kumen L. Taylor, attorney at law, began negotiating with the hospital’s insurer a settlement of John and Mary’s personal injury claims. There were claims for a traumatic brain injury, an injured eye, a broken knee, sprained ankles, whiplashed spines. Their injuries were substantial. Kumen L. Taylor, attorney at law and personal injury lawyer went to work for them. Now they needed rehabilitation and in-home care. They needed long term treatment and care. Kumen L. Taylor, their personal injury lawyer and attorney, negotiated a multi-million dollar settlement that would take care of their needs for years into the future.
